Appointment Policies
Below you’ll find a list of important clinic policies to be aware of in the preparation for, and during, your appointments. If you have questions about your appointment or concerns regarding any of the policies outlined below, please contact me directly.
Booking Procedures
Bookings can be easily made online through Jane, my online booking system. You can access current up-to-date availability by clicking the “Book an Appointment” link in the navigation menu above. Please ensure that you select the appropriate appointment type - Initial or Follow-up appointment. If you have difficulty booking online please contact me by e-mail for assistance.
Intake Forms
Please remember to fill out online intake and waiver forms before your initial appointment. These are accessible through my online booking system once you’re booked in. If for any reason completing these forms is not possible in advance of your appointment, please contact me directly when booking as an extended initial appointment will need to be booked. Incomplete or missing intake forms may result in the need to cancel and rebook your appointment.
Cancellations & Missed Appointments
I require a minimum of 48hr notice should you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. If you miss, reschedule, or cancel within 48 hours of your appointment time, you will be charged the regular fee for the appointment.
Cancellations, no-shows, and chronic rescheduling may require that you prepay for future appointments.
Follow Up Appointments
Follow-up appointments are generally booked in person before you leave, although they can also be easily booked online. You can see the most up-to-date appointment availability by logging in to Jane, my online booking software.
If you require an appointment urgently, please add yourself to my waitlist AND e-mail me directly. I can often accommodate urgent care appointments sooner rather than later.
Arriving at the Clinic
I make every effort to adhere to our scheduled time slot. Please aim to arrive a few minutes early and make yourself comfortable in the waiting room. If you arrive late we will only have the remainder of your booked appointment time.
Please leave your shoes/boots in the waiting room, and remember to place your phone on silent. Please do not leave any valuables in the waiting room.
Health & Wellness
If you have an appointment scheduled and you are feeling unwell, or are experiencing cold or flu-like symptoms, contact me as soon as possible so that we can reschedule your appointment.
If you would like to, please feel free to wear a mask during treatment. I am happy to wear a mask during your appointment on request.
A Note About Surfaces
I sanitize surfaces and practicing hand hygiene between every appointment in my practice. I make every effort to adhere to best practice guidance outlined by the Ministry of Health, Public Health, and the Ontario Osteopathic Association. I use PREempt Disinfectant Ready to Use solution to clean and disinfect surfaces between each treatment, and Benemax hand sanitizer is available to use when arriving or leaving your appointment. If you have any questions or concerns about these practices please feel free to ask.
